🥾 Hiking in the Berkshires
Every year, the Berkshires draw folks from all around the country to partake in its hiking. Even the Appalachian Trail comes through here.

30 Rockwell Rd, Lanesborough, MA 01237 (directions)When the skies are clear, take a drive to the summit of Mount Greylock. You can do a little hike around there. The Appalachian Trail actually runs right through the summit.
Lanesborough, MA - Monument Mountain
546 Stockbridge Rd, Great Barrington, MA 01230 (directions)A nice uphill and somewhat strenuous hike. Lots of parking, just north of Great Barrington. Pretty popular as well.
Great Barrington, MA - York Lake
Forest Rd, New Marlborough, MA 01230 (directions)York Lake is a man-made lake that has a small sand beach that is great for swimming when the weather is hot out. There is a nice hour-long hike around the lake as well. You won't see a ton of people here but it's really nice. Has a small boat launch as well.
New Marlborough, MA - Umpachene Falls
Umpachene Falls Rd, New Marlborough, MA 01259 (directions)A real local spot, the falls are wide and are just a few hundred feet from the parking area.
New Marlborough, MA - Campbell Falls
Campbell Falls Rd, New Marlborough, MA 01259 (directions)A nice, tall, picturesque waterfall that is a short but steep hike down from the trailhead. Great to take a dip or have a picnic at the base of the falls.

716-732 S Undermountain Rd, Sheffield, MA 01257 (directions)A nice little uphill hike right next to the Race Brook Lodge. Parking can be tough when it's busy though.
