Every year, the Berkshires draw folks from all around the country to partake in its hiking. Even the Appalachian Trail comes through here.

Forest Rd, New Marlborough, MA 01230 (directions)York Lake is a man-made lake that has a small sand beach that is great for swimming when the weather is hot out. There is a nice hour-long hike around the lake as well. You won't see a ton of people here but it's really nice. Has a small boat launch as well.

Campbell Falls Rd, New Marlborough, MA 01259 (directions)A nice, tall, picturesque waterfall that is a short but steep hike down from the trailhead. Great to take a dip or have a picnic at the base of the falls.

Sheffield, MA - Monument Mountain (~15 min away)
546 Stockbridge Rd, Great Barrington, MA 01230 (directions)A nice uphill and somewhat strenuous hike. Lots of parking, just north of Great Barrington. Pretty popular as well.
