History near Peru

These aren't in Peru per se, but are just a drive away.

Lot's of history here, including the Knox Trail along which cannons were towed on sleds from Lake George to Boston during the Revolutionary War.

      Lots of great history here and a small cafe/gift shop. In the winter, they set up an outdoor lights display that you can walk around in. It's really nice, and the old round stone barn is a must-see.

      A quirky residence that is now an Airbnb. It is a life-sized gingerbread house in the middle of the farmlands of scenic Tyringham.
