Spring in the Berkshires

Although the roads may be muddy, the trees are starting to bud, maple syrup is being made all over the Berkshires and the bears are starting to come out looking for food.

  Maple syrup has been something made by farmers and hobbyists in the Berkshires for centuries. Several farms produce their own local variety.

    In the spring, they make maple syrup at the farm. You can get pancakes here as well. In the winter, it becomes a Christmas tree farm.
